There’s a reason your mom always told you to eat your veggies and there’s also a reason she always talked of Popeye’s superhuman strength when discussing spinach. It’s all true – your mom was right – (unless she told you to shut the hell up and eat your big mac quietly). Veggies are those colorfully diverse foods…that deserve a round of applause for their phytochemicals, antioxidants, and plethora of vitamins and minerals.

There’s plenty of passion out there for veggies – raw, cooked, steamed, boiled, grilled, roasted, mashed…the possibilities are endless. The health benefits from consuming vegetables on a daily basis is staggeringly large. I’ll talk about veggies more, but i’ll end this with a fun quote…:-p
